Cabbage in the Concrete was developed through the Dance Canvas Choreographer's Career Development Initiative of 2022 in Atlanta, GA.

Inspired by my grandfather, Earnest, who grew a large cabbage in his driveway, this work honors the ways in which we reconnect to our lineage and how we emerge through arduous times.
